Concyl includes a COM
Automation interface to Microsoft Excel. This interface is used to open a
plot database file and generate plots of the solution data. This feature is
only available if Excel is installed on the same computer as Concyl. The
user must first save a plot database file using the
Tools->Save Plot File menu item. Once Excel has started,
the current plot database file is read, and then a line plot chart is
generated for each column of data in the plot file. Each plot can then be
customized using the charting features of Excel. The user can also save the
spreadsheet in a standard Excel format, if desired. Figure 10 below
shows a typical Concyl plot generated by Excel.
